Base Pay
Merial targets base pay at a premium level against our competitive markets for talent and allows for differentiation based on individual performance, experience and abilities. Base pay is reviewed on an annual basis with merit increase consideration, typically in March, based on an employee’s performance and position to market. >>more

Merial 401(k) Savings Plan
Employees are automatically enrolled at a 3% contribution rate from their date of hire. Participants may contribute up to 50% of basic annual earnings plus commissions on a pre- or after-tax basis, up to the allowed limit, $16,500 in 2009. Employees age 50 and over may contribute an additional amount, up to $5,500 in 2009. Merial matches 100% of the first 3% of compensation contributed by the employee and 50% of the next 3%. All Merial and employee contributions are immediately 100% vested. >>more

Paid Vacation
Available to all full-time regular employees (pro-rated for part-time employees, based on hours worked). From three to five weeks of paid vacation based on length of service. Paid days accrue at the end of each full month worked. >>more
