RECOMBITEK® Equine West Nile Virus Vaccine
Horses exposed to the West Nile Virus can develop devastating neurological symptoms and risk death in severe cases. The virus continues to be unpredictable in its location, having spread throughout the United States since 1999. RECOMBITEK® Equine West Nile Virus (WNV) vaccine was proven 100% effective in preventing viremia after the primary vaccination course in a clinical trial, can be used to booster previously vaccinated horses with a single dose and lasts throughout the entire mosquito season. Available only through your veterinarian.
GASTROGARD® (omeprazole)
Developed with a proprietary formula containing omeprazole, GASTROGARD is the only product proven to treat equine stomach ulcers. Available through veterinarians, GASTROGARD is the only product that suppresses acid production in the horse's stomach and allows the ulcer to heal while the horse continues to train and compete.
