Our Commitment

The Paws to Save Pets^SM program, through its foundation partners, the Petfinder.com Foundation and the American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF), is committed to:

• Keeping pets out of harm's way by funding emergency preparedness
  training and educational support to animal care professionals and pet
  owners coast-to-coast
• Providing emergency relief and medical assistance to ensure the health and well-being of animals when natural disasters occur
• Rescuing pets following natural disasters and reuniting them with their families

We strive to meet these commitments in response to major disasters as well as those smaller but equally tragic events that devastate local communities.
